The standard pitch size for most vendors is 3 metres wide × 2 metres deep.
How is the stand fee calculated?
Basic formula:
Standgebühr = (price per metre) × (number of metres booked) + optional extras
Practical example:
Ahmed sells second-hand clothing and books a stand with 3 metres width plus a chair.
Price: €15 per metre
Chair: €5
Calculation:
€15 × 3 metres = €45
€5 for the chair
= €50 total for the day
Early booking vs. same-day registration – any difference?

Is there an official receipt?
Yes. You normally receive a Stellplatzquittung (receipt for your pitch).
If you run a registered business, you may treat this as a business expense (Betriebsausgabe) in your accounts.
Important notes:
No counterfeit goods: Selling fake branded items is prohibited.
Overly commercial / wholesale setups may be refused if they do not fit the character of the flea market or lack proper permits.
Electricity is very limited: If you need power, you should arrange this with the organiser well in advance.
Food sales: Require hygiene compliance and, in many cases, notification or approval by the Ordnungsamt and health authority (Gesundheitsamt).
Late arrival: If you miss the agreed setup time, you may lose your pitch and the fee is generally not refunded.
