Funding a barrier-free kitchen in Germany (Zuschuss Barrierefreie Küche)
1. What is a barrier-free kitchen and why does it matter?
A barrier-free (accessible) kitchen is planned and built so that it can be used as independently as possible by older people and persons with disabilities. Typical features include:

2. What funding programmes are available?
A. Long-term care insurance fund (Pflegekasse)

This funding can be used to adapt the kitchen so that the person in need of care can use it more independently.
