German Official Warns of Iranian Espionage Against Army

Konstantin von Notz, head of Germany’s parliamentary intelligence oversight committee, warned that Iranian intelligence services are carrying out espionage activities targeting the German army.

He stated that these operations include attempts to infiltrate military facilities and personnel, as well as significant risks from electronic espionage and potential cyberattacks.

Germany’s military intelligence service confirmed that Iran remains one of the most active actors conducting espionage against the Bundeswehr, raising concerns that such activities could be used to prepare serious crimes, including kidnappings or assassinations.
