What is the CovPass app?
CovPass is an official app issued by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Health.
It is used to store and display vaccination, recovery and test certificates in a digital and secure way.

After being vaccinated, you receive a printed QR code from:
your doctor or vaccination centre
a pharmacy, if you bring your paper vaccination booklet
Then:
Open the CovPass app.
Use the camera to scan the QR code.
The certificate appears immediately in the app and can be used electronically.
The app does not store data on external servers.
All information is kept locally on your device only.
You do not need to register or enter personal data.
No data is sent to government authorities or third parties.

Accepted in all EU member states.
