Strengthening Drone Defense at German Airports

The Federal Police is set to enhance protection against drone attacks at German airports. As part of a new security plan, 300 specialized personnel will be deployed at eight locations across Germany. These measures aim to improve airport security and minimize potential threats from unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition to increasing personnel, the Federal Police also plans to employ modern technologies for drone defense. These technical means will help in early detection of drone attacks and potentially neutralizing them.
