New Heat Records Set in Germany

Germany has recorded new July heat records in three federal states, reaching temperatures of up to 40.5 degrees Celsius. Although the heat was not as extreme as in June, these high temperatures are concerning. Following the heatwave, thunderstorms occurred in many areas, complicating the situation further. At Möhnesee in North Rhine-Westphalia, two teenagers were injured during a thunderstorm, highlighting the dangers of extreme weather conditions.
