The train station district in Frankfurt am Main has developed a bad reputation, comparable to the well-known problem areas of Berlin-Neukölln or Duisburg-Marxloh. Despite intensive cleaning measures being carried out up to six times a day, the area remains a hotspot for social issues and crime. WELT accompanied the city police during their operations in this challenging environment, documenting the difficulties faced by the officers. Residents and business owners express concern over the ongoing problems and demand more measures to improve safety and quality of life in the area.
