Germany’s KEF commission has recommended raising the mandatory broadcasting fee to €18.64 per household per month starting in 2027.
The current fee is €18.36, meaning the increase would be just €0.28. This adjustment is lower than the earlier proposal of €18.94 from 2025.
The final decision rests with Germany’s federal states, several of which have previously opposed fee increases.
