Police in Bavaria discovered the bodies of a married couple inside their home, in what authorities described as a double homicide.
Initial investigations suggest the victims were killed in a violent attack. A 34-year-old man holding both German and Iraqi citizenship has been arrested on suspicion of committing the murders.
The motive remains unclear. Prosecutors have ordered autopsies to determine the exact cause of death. The crime scene has been sealed off as forensic teams collect evidence.
