A solemn memorial ceremony was held Saturday evening in Dormagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, for 14-year-old Yusuf, who was fatally stabbed in late January. Around 1,000 people attended the event.
The gathering took place in a central square, where candles were lit and photos of the victim displayed. Community representatives delivered speeches expressing grief and shock over the crime.
Attendees emphasized their solidarity with Yusuf’s family and their rejection of violence against children.
