A tragic accident occurred Tuesday evening in a town in Rhineland-Palatinate, where a regional train struck a car at a railway crossing, killing a man in his twenties.
Police reported that the car was on the crossing as the train approached, and the driver was unable to leave in time.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but the driver succumbed to his severe injuries.
