German police have revealed details about a criminal group known as the “Hammer Gang,” suspected of carrying out a series of cross-border attacks in which victims were assaulted with hammers.
According to prosecutors, the suspects face charges not only of causing serious bodily harm but also of attempted murder. The gang allegedly targeted individuals in Germany and neighboring countries, with some victims suffering life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the group operated in an organized manner, planning and coordinating its attacks. Several members have already been arrested, while others remain internationally wanted.
Authorities stressed that solving the case is a top priority, as the gang poses a serious threat to public safety.
