According to the Henley Passport Index 2026, the German passport now ranks fourth worldwide, granting visa-free access to 185 destinations. Germany narrowly missed the global top three.
The Syrian passport, however, is ranked 104th, allowing entry to only 26 countries without prior visa requirements, keeping it among the weakest passports globally.
