A shocking theft occurred in Berlin when two women gained access to the apartment of an 80-year-old woman and stole valuables.
The suspects pretended to be acquaintances of the victim, exploiting her trust to enter the apartment. Once inside, they distracted her and took cash and jewelry before leaving.
Berlin police have launched an investigation and are appealing to the public for information. Such fraudulent thefts targeting the elderly are considered particularly serious crimes in Germany.
