Store: Amazon.de is the German Amazon marketplace, part of the global US-based Amazon group, focused mainly on German customers but with some cross-border shipping in Europe.

Payment: Credit/debit cards, SEPA direct debit, invoice and monthly billing, Amazon gift cards/balance, plus dedicated financing options for eligible purchases.

Instalments: Many items can be bought in instalments (e.g. 5 monthly payments or longer-term financing via partner bank), depending on product and credit check.

Returns: Typically a voluntary 30-day return window, but in some product categories this has been reduced to 14 days; the exact return period is shown on each product page and comes on top of the basic EU right of withdrawal.

Warranty: Statutory warranty (usually 2 years on new goods) plus possible manufacturer’s warranties and Amazon guarantees (e.g. A-to-Z Guarantee for marketplace orders, special warranties for Amazon devices).

Shipping: Shipping is not generally free – standard shipping normally costs a few euros; many items ship free with Prime or above a certain order value, while marketplace sellers can set their own shipping fees.
