After the Heatwave: Thunderstorms and Strong Winds on the Way

Following a severe heatwave that has affected many regions of Germany, thunderstorms with strong winds and hail are now approaching. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the first storms are expected to begin on Friday in the west and northwest of the country.
