Reports indicate that a Bosnian man has been living in Cologne since 2003 despite his asylum application being rejected. Along with his family of ten, he receives about €7,250 per month in social benefits. Although a deportation order was issued more than two decades ago, he remains in Germany, sparking heated debate over the asylum and welfare system.
