Germany: Customs Seize Over €44,000 Hidden in Syrian’s Car from the Netherlands

 

German customs authorities reported seizing more than €44,000 hidden inside a car driven by a Syrian man arriving from the Netherlands. The money was concealed illegally within parts of the vehicle, raising suspicion during inspection. Investigations are underway to determine the origin of the funds and whether they are linked to financial crimes or smuggling.
