Germany: Katjes Promotes Arabic-Language "Halal" Sweets for Ramadan

German confectionery company Katjes has launched an Arabic-language campaign targeting Muslim consumers during Ramadan. Large posters in cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt, and Hanover feature the slogan “Delicious Iftar” alongside a “Halal” logo, following the company’s recent certification confirming its products are free of prohibited ingredients like pork and alcohol. The campaign also includes social media promotions featuring actor Kida Ramadan from the series 4 Blocks.
