Germany Issues Travel Warning for Middle Eastern Countries

On March 1, 2026, Germany’s Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning for several Middle Eastern countries following US-Israeli strikes on Iran and fears of a wider regional conflict.

  • Countries affected: Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

  • An additional order was issued for Germans to leave Lebanon immediately.

  • German diplomatic missions are in contact with citizens in the region.

  • The ministry cautioned that the situation could escalate quickly.
