
On March 1, 2026, Germany’s Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning for several Middle Eastern countries following US-Israeli strikes on Iran and fears of a wider regional conflict.
Countries affected: Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE.
An additional order was issued for Germans to leave Lebanon immediately.
German diplomatic missions are in contact with citizens in the region.
The ministry cautioned that the situation could escalate quickly.
