Survey: Gen Z in Germany More Prone to Psychological Stress

A recent survey by YouGov, commissioned by Swiss Life, found that Generation Z (born 1997–2007) in Germany experiences significantly higher psychological stress compared to older generations.

  • 48% of Gen Z respondents reported “fairly high” or “very high” stress levels in work, university, or vocational training.

  • Only 20% of Baby Boomers reported similar stress levels.

  • The survey, conducted in October, included 2004 participants aged 18 and above.
