A document shows that Germany’s government has reduced its long-term framework plan for purchasing attack drones to about €2 billion, down from the previously envisioned €4.3 billion. The move aims to ensure stronger parliamentary oversight of future budgets. The proposal includes a purchase worth €536 million from German startups Helsing and Stark Defense. Any further contracts exceeding €2 billion will require new parliamentary approval.
