Tragic accident in Germany: Car pulls plastic sled – child dies

An 11-year-old boy died on Sunday morning in Kuchelmiss, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, after sitting on a plastic sled pulled by a car driven by an acquaintance.

  • The accident occurred around 10:50 a.m. on a rural road south of Rostock.

  • Two other children (aged 11 and 13) on the sled sustained minor injuries.

  • Police reported the 37-year-old driver lost control, causing the sled to crash into a woodpile.

  • Despite rescue efforts, including two helicopters, the boy died at the scene from severe injuries.

  • Authorities closed the road for several hours during rescue and investigation.
