According to a German magazine, the government has stated it will not join U.S. President Donald Trump’s newly formed “Peace Council.” Chancellor Friedrich Merz said at Davos that Germany has “questions that need clarification” and emphasized that Berlin prefers to work within existing international frameworks such as the EU and NATO.
