According to the Henley Passport Index 2026, the German passport ranks 4th globally, granting visa-free access to 185 countries.
The Syrian passport, however, ranks 104th, allowing entry to only 26 countries without a prior visa or with visa-on-arrival, making it one of the weakest passports worldwide.
