Publication date: 2026-01-15

A recent study reveals that the extremist network “Terrorgram” is targeting children and teenagers in Germany via the internet. The group glorifies terrorist attacks and encourages imitation, aiming to create extremists at a very young age.

The study, conducted by the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office along with prosecutors in Stuttgart and Munich, titled “Teenage Terrorists in Germany,” found that some recruits are as young as 12 or 13 years old.

Baden-Württemberg’s Interior Minister Thomas Strobl stated that many of these children suffer from family neglect and social isolation, making them highly vulnerable to violence and radicalization.
