“Thaura” – Arab AI Platform Challenges Silicon Valley Giants

 

As the global race to develop artificial intelligence intensifies, questions grow: Who owns this technology, who benefits from it, and what price do users pay for speed and “intelligence”?

Against this backdrop, two Syrian refugees launched “Thaura,” an alternative AI platform that places ethics and user privacy at its core rather than the margins. Their vision is to build a community that values principles over profit.
