German football star Thomas Müller, winner of the 2014 World Cup, said Tuesday that Lionel Messi’s participation in the upcoming tournament would not necessarily make Argentina, the defending champions, stronger.
Müller stressed that the 38-year-old Messi’s involvement depends entirely on his physical condition.
The World Cup will be held in June and July 2026 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
