German Transport Minister Volker Wissing stated that the cost of obtaining a driving license in Germany will remain high over the next few years.
He said that no significant price reduction is expected before 2027.
The minister explained that the high expenses are due to several factors, including training fees, fuel prices, and examination charges.
He added that while the government is monitoring the issue, quick solutions are unlikely.
Wissing advised applicants not to wait for lower costs in the near future.
