Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, has warned that left-wing antisemitism is the most dangerous form of hostility toward Jews in the country.
In remarks published Saturday (December 20, 2025) by the Rheinische Post, Prosor stated: “Germany has right-wing, Islamic, and left-wing antisemitism. In my view, the left-wing variant is the most dangerous.”
He explained that dealing with fascists is more straightforward since they openly display their racism and laws exist to counter them. “But individuals from the far-left spectrum who legitimize Hamas’s ideology and spread it covertly must be held accountable. At this point, the German state is powerless,” Prosor said.
