How to keep your hearing aid efficient in winter

Germany’s Federal Association of Hearing Specialists stated that hearing aids can maintain their efficiency during winter if cleaned daily with a soft, lint-free cloth.

The association added that condensation poses another challenge, as moisture may accumulate inside the device and cause damage.

To prevent this, hearing aids should not be placed near heaters or dried with a hairdryer, since heat can also damage them. The best option is to store the device overnight in a drying box that removes moisture.
