A 27-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday evening in Hamburg after being attacked with a knife.
According to police, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the St. Georg district, where an unknown assailant stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene.
Witnesses called emergency services, and the injured man was taken to hospital. His condition is described as critical but not life-threatening.
Police have launched an investigation on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and initiated a manhunt for the suspect.
