In Hamburg’s Bergedorf district, an unknown suspect blew up an ATM late Wednesday night (December 3, 2025) and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect, dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask, entered the ATM room around 10:56 p.m. and used explosives to destroy the machine. On Thursday morning, a passerby noticed the damaged ATM near a gas station on Kurt-A.-Körber-Chaussee and alerted police.
Investigators reported significant damage inside and outside the ATM room. Hamburg police are calling for witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity to come forward.
