The French outlet "Mediapart" revealed that a Syrian refugee has filed a complaint against German authorities after being subjected to what she described as a discriminatory police search despite holding a valid residence permit, before being sent back to France. According to the report by journalist Najma Ibrahim, the refugee Sandra Aloush, who resides in France with a ten-year residence permit, lodged a formal complaint against German authorities. She stated that she experienced humiliation and violence during a border inspection on a train traveling between Strasbourg and Berlin on June 16, 2025.
