“They should serve their country” – Merz criticizes rising migration of young Ukrainians to Germany in call with Zelensky

German CDU leader Friedrich Merz voiced concern in a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the increasing number of young Ukrainians moving to Germany. Merz stressed that these youths are needed in their homeland to take responsibility and contribute to rebuilding Ukraine. He urged Ukraine to find ways to retain its young population.
