Berlin (Berlin) – Germany’s Interior Ministry has banned the youth group “Muslim Interaktiv,” accusing it of rejecting democracy, inciting hatred against Israel and women, and undermining social harmony.

Founded in 2020, the group was highly active on social media. In early November, authorities confiscated its assets, while police raided other Islamic associations in Hamburg (Hamburg), Berlin (Berlin), and Hessen (Hessen).

The Interior Ministry stated that the ban was based on findings from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, noting that the group “rejects the democratic system, calls for a purely Islamic model of society, and labels Western democracies as value dictatorships.” It also “violates principles of gender equality.”

Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (Alexander Dobrindt) declared: “Anyone who calls for a caliphate in our streets, spreads hatred against Israel and Jews, and disregards the rights of women and minorities will face the full force of the law.”
