Eisenach ist die sechstgrößte Stadt Thüringens und liegt im Westen Thüringens. Bekannt ist Eisenach durch die Wartburg oberhalb der Stadt, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört und im Mittelalter Sitz der Landgrafen von Thüringen war.
