Germany’s head coach Julian Nagelsmann is struggling to identify his “key players” ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
He must select a squad of 26 players, but the process appears more complicated than expected, despite the return of Kai Havertz, Antonio Rüdiger, and possibly Jamal Musiala.
The team will play friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana as part of its preparations.
